Classically trained Mezzo-Soprano, Alyssa Staron, has been described as having a vocal quality of unique beauty, color and timbre. Her training and experience on the opera, concert and recital stage provided her with a varied repertoire for both secular and sacred events.
An experienced wedding soloist for both civil and religious ceremonies of various denominations, Alyssa will assist you in selecting music for your special day, as well as recommend additional musicians. She has sung for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and will also work with your venue's music director and other hired musicians to coordinate, rehearse and discuss music choices.
Alyssa is also an experienced cantor for the Catholic mass, working as an in-house wedding soloist at the Cathedral Basilica of S.S. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia, PA. She has a full understanding of the liturgy and the required music and can assist you in selecting the appropriate repertoire.
Wedding rates start at $150. Discounts for weddings in January/February.
