Classically trained Mezzo-Soprano, Alyssa Lehman, has been described as having a vocal quality of unique beauty, color and timbre. Her training and experience on the opera and concert stage provided her with a varied repertoire for both secular and sacred events.
An experienced wedding soloist for both civil and religious ceremonies, Alyssa will assist you in selecting music for your special day, as well as recommend additional musicians if requested. As a soloist and cantor at the Cathedral Basilica of S.S. Peter and Paul, she also has an understanding of the Catholic liturgy and its music requirements/restrictions, and will work with you and your church's music director in choosing appropriate music for your nuptial mass.
Alyssa trains with soprano, Evelyn Mandac and previously with coloratura soprano, Deborah Cook. Her studies also included training at the Mozarteum music conservatory in Salzburg, Austria and at the Spoleto Arts Symposium in Italy with Nico and Carol Castel and Enza Ferrari.
